Helping people in your community

You could help your community by making a fundraiser; it could be for a sports program in your school that they are threatening to take away due to cutbacks. Which fundraiser you would want to do depends on your community. If you see a lot of people who go for car wash, go to a place close to a car wash and set up your equipment, be sure to bring lots of friends or family members to help you. This way you can advertise using billboards you are offering a car wash for a small amount of money and that all money that is collected is to help your school, church, or your team at school.

Another thing you could do is throwing parties in your community and makes it be about fundraising to help a certain family in need who lost their home, this is someone the community would love and the people that it is for. It shows that as a community you are strong and help the ones who need it even if you do not know who they are.

The church also opens services in order to get money like drives, or events that they throw that have games and will have prizes. You want to make sure that you ask businesses if it’s ok you do events in front of their place before you do anything. If you are raising money and want to ask people in from of a store be sure to ask management if it’s ok if you do so. You wouldn’t want to do it without their permission and have them kick you out that would be bad.

When you can be sure to volunteer anywhere that you can in your community, it could be at an animal shelter to a homeless shelter as long as you are contributing to your community it should go well. There are many things that you can do to help your community and the people in it, just be sure to make a list of possible ideas and go through with some of those ideas. Helping your community goes a long way; people would appreciate what you do to help the others around you. When helping see about getting friends or any family members to help, it’s always fun to do community help with others you are comfortable being around with.
